Sunscreen Research Center

Welcome to the Sunscreen Research Center!

At the Sunscreen Research Center, we are dedicated to advancing the science of sun protection through innovative research, rigorous testing, and the development of better sunscreen formulations.

Our mission is to ensure that everyone can enjoy the sun safely while protecting their skin, eyes and the environment.

Our Core Competencies

1. Testing of Commercial Sunscreens

We evaluate commercial sunscreen products for their pyhsicochemical properties and their performance and impact on skin, eyes and the environment.

2. Development of Models for Testing Sunscreens

We are committed to creating standardized and innovative testing methodologies. Our research includes developing advanced experimental models that simulate real-world conditions, allowing for accurate assessments of sunscreen efficacy for skin, eyes and environment. We establish clear benchmarks for SPF and broad-spectrum protection, facilitating meaningful comparisons across different products.

3. Development of Better Sunscreens

Our focus on innovation drives us to formulate sunscreens that are not only effective but also safe and environmentally friendly. We explore natural, biodegradable ingredients that provide superior UV protection without harming marine ecosystems. Our formulations prioritize skin and eye compatibility and water resistance, making them suitable for all needs and all types of outdoor activities.

4. Promoting Safe Sun Practices

At the Sunscreen Research Center, we believe in the importance of education and awareness. We strive to inform consumers about the significance of sunscreen use, the differences between products, and the potential risks that can be associated with sunscreens.
